You might have seen glow sticks being used in many parties or different events. They are used from dance party to rock contests. Glow stick works by the chemical reactions of different chemicals with in them.

Glow sticks were invented many years ago, but they are still popular because of it’s flexibility. The glow sticks come in many sizes and colors and they are used in different activities and events. You can find them in race scene and they are used in complex dances or contests. They are used as safety lamps by Scuba divers and campers.

They are very cheap, you can find them in many stores or many places. You can find individual glow sticks at convenience stores and find them at food and drug stores at the time of Halloween. You can get them through online or from special stores. You know that they are disposable and very short-term things. They can last for days though they are frozen. With in few hours these glow sticks will burn out completely.

If a glow stick breaks, chemicals of the glow stick come in contact with the eye or skin then redness and irritation can be caused by it.

Divers use the high powered glow sticks as the source of light under the water or river. Sometimes, they are used in motor vehicles and they are used in military operations as well.

They are available in different types like mini sticks, necklaces, bracelets, pins etc. Glow sticks are very useful.

Video games help in development of your child, helps you recreate out of your busy life, teach you many things. But choosing an apt game is always what you have to do to enjoy boons of playing video games.

Many have gained a lot in playing video games by understanding them right way. There are some people who couldn’t understand video games the right way and say that video games are bad.

Choosing age-appropriate, safe video games for your children is an extremely important step in preventing your family’s exposure to strong, graphic violence and mature themes.

There are some ratings to video games like ratings to movies in our Hollywood. They help you choose the apt game relatively to the age. The ratings go like this

EC (early child hood) for 3+ aged
E (everyone) for 6+ aged
E10+ (everyone above 10) for ages above 10
T (teen) for ages above 13
M (mature) for ages above 17
AO (adults only) for people above 18

So, choosing games is not a big deal. But watch out for addiction.

Many pros and cons about student drug testing are prevailing in the society. The main purpose of using student drug testing is to prevent the students from drug abuse but to identify the students using the drugs. Students once became addicted to drugs it becomes difficult to come out of it. Pressure of studying or to increase the efficiency can force the student to drug abuse and later to drug addiction.

If school officials have any doubt about a particular student about his drug abuse, they can go for drug testing for that particular student. In early 1990’s, the students who participate in sports or athletics, on them only the student drug testing performed. Few teachers and parents call it as ineffective way to discourage the student with drug abuse. About 600 school districts use drug testing for the students. Parents should spend quality time in explaining the effects of the abuse on health and family.

Recently research was conducted on school students to know, how many students are addicted to drugs. School students are more addictive to drug use with 75% of total drug abusers are school students. After this research parents are forced to perform drug test on their kids to know the drug abuse.

In June 2002 Federal Court has extended authority to schools for testing drugs. Decision of drug testing in schools depends on the management. If management wants to go for any drug tests can go for drug testing in schools with permission of parents. This test is not done to identify the students and naming them as bad but the main intention of drug testing in schools is to identify the drug abuse and try to help them in overcoming the drug abuse or stop using any drugs in future.

Parents can also test their kids at home and can know the drug levels in their body, in finding any drug abuse in children. The results of drug tests help parents in talking about the drug effects or how it spoils the life of their children. My uncle has two daughters, after reading the research paper he was forced to test the drug levels of his daughters using the drug testing kits. Though they don’t use any drugs but he doesn’t want to take risk with their lives.
